Scouters are the adult volunteers who make scouting possible for our youth members. To become a Scouter, volunteers must complete Garda vetting, safeguarding training, and attend a comprehensive weekend course introducing the fundamentals of Scouting and the responsibilities of a Scouter.
All Scouters undergo Garda vetting and are required to renew their safeguarding training every three years to ensure the safety and well-being of all members.
We actively encourage and support our volunteers to pursue ongoing training and development opportunities. Continuous learning not only enhances individual skills but also strengthens the entire Scout Group.
